The CTS Hack-a-Thon is a 2.5-day hands-on innovation experience happening during the Church & Technology Summit.
This is not a traditional coding competition.
It is an opportunity for emerging leaders, creatives, technologists and next-generation innovators to identify real problems facing real churches and use AI-powered vibe coding to build practical solutions.
You don’t have to be a programmer.
You don’t have to know how to write code.
Bring your laptop. Bring a problem. Bring your creativity. We’ll help you build.
Before arriving at CTS, tell us about a problem your church or ministry needs to solve.
Maybe it's:
Your CTS registration gives you access to the CTS Hack-a-Thon track.
There is no separate Hack-a-Thon registration fee for registered CTS attendees unless otherwise stated.
Space may be limited, so participants must reserve their place in the Hack-a-Thon in advance.
You'll work alongside experienced AI and technology leaders who will help you take your idea from concept to reality.
This isn't another session where you sit and take notes.
You're building.
You'll spend dedicated time throughout CTS developing, testing and improving your solution.
Our goal is simple:
Build something at CTS that could be working in your church by Sunday morning.
The CTS Hack-a-Thon is designed for:
Young adults. College students. High-school students. Creatives. Entrepreneurs. Ministry volunteers. Technology professionals. Aspiring developers. Youth leaders. Church staff. People with ideas. People with problems to solve.
No coding experience required.
Experienced developers are welcome too.
We want you to build boldly.
Participants retain ownership of the original ideas, projects and intellectual property they create during the CTS Hack-a-Thon, subject to any third-party tools, software or intellectual property used in developing their solution.
If CTS believes a project has the potential to serve churches beyond the Hack-a-Thon, we may invite the participant or team to explore continued development, investment, licensing or commercialization opportunities with CTS and/or its development partners.
Any such commercial relationship would be addressed through a separate agreement between CTS and the participant or team.
Participation in the CTS Hack-a-Thon does not, by itself, transfer ownership of your project to CTS.
Build it at CTS. Use it in your church. And maybe together, we can take it even further.
